As a young person taking part in our club or activity, we request you to:
The Essentials:
- Keep yourself safe by listening to your coach or trainer, behaving responsibly, and speaking out when something isn't right.
- Stay in designated areas when with us, avoiding wandering off or leaving without informing a staff member.
- Take care of our equipment and premises as if they were your own.
- Attend practices or sessions on time, and if running late, inform a staff member.
- Bring the right kit to practise and wear appropriate attire for the weather.
- Refrain from smoking or consuming alcohol on our premises or during practices, competitions, or when representing us.
Behaviour:
- Respect and celebrate differences in our club or activity, refraining from discriminating against anyone based on gender, race, sexual orientation, or ability.
- Report any incidents of bullying, including homophobia and transphobia, to a staff member, even if you're just a witness.
- Treat other young people with respect, recognizing that everyone has different levels of skill and talent.
- Contribute to making our club or activity a welcoming and friendly place.
- Support and encourage your teammates, acknowledging their achievements and providing support during challenging times.
- Respect our staff and the staff and young players from other teams.
- Exhibit good sportsmanship, celebrating victories and showing grace in defeat.
- Play by the rules and have fun.
