Who Can Pick Up Your Child:
- Only adults aged 16 years and older, who are explicitly listed on the student's Pick-up Consent Form, will be authorised to pick up students from the class.
- Parents/Guardians are responsible for ensuring that the individuals listed on the Pick-up Consent Form are familiar with the policy.
- In case someone other than those listed on the Pick-up Consent Form needs to pick up the child, parents/guardians are required to notify the office by email before 2 pm on the respective day.
- Changes to the Pick-up Consent Form should be communicated promptly to the school office to maintain an accurate and up-to-date list.
Permission to Leave on Their Own:
- Parents/Guardians must submit written consent to the academy if they wish to grant permission for their child to leave on their own at the end of the class.
- It is essential to understand that if parental consent is provided and the child leaves the premises unattended, the academy cannot guarantee their safety or supervision outside of the designated class time.
- Parents/Guardians should weigh the maturity and responsibility of their child before granting permission for independent departure, considering the potential risks associated with unsupervised activities.
- The academy reserves the right to revoke permission for a child to leave on their own if there are concerns about their safety or behaviour.
